Features
Reddit Job Aggregation
The core of Hireddit is the aggregation of job-related posts from Reddit. We’re tapping into Reddit’s unique space to capture job listings that may not appear on conventional job boards. Many people find opportunities through Reddit communities, from freelance gigs to full-time roles across various industries. Hireddit v0 is built to streamline these listings by collecting, processing, and categorizing job posts.
How It Works
- Data Collection: Hireddit gathers data from Reddit search results, targeting subreddits focused on job postings. Each post includes essential information like the job title, URL, subreddit, and posting date.
- Data Processing: Once data is collected, Hireddit filters out non-job-related content, ensuring a clean, curated feed of job opportunities.
- Organized Presentation: The listings are then displayed in a simple and organized format, making it easy to scan through job opportunities quickly.
In v0, I collected job posts from 28 subreddits, and I found +1000 posts in the past 7 days. Browse all the posts
Search Posts
Job searching is highly personal, and the ability to narrow down results is essential. In this release, Hireddit provides robust sorting and filtering options, enabling users to tailor their search to fit their specific needs.
Filtering
Hireddit offers easy filtering options that let you zero in on posts from specific subreddits. For instance, if you’re interested in tech roles, you can filter posts to only show jobs from tech-related subreddits.
Weekly Job Newsletter
In addition to browsing job listings directly on Hireddit, users can now stay informed through our Weekly Job Newsletter. Designed for job seekers who prefer updates delivered straight to their inbox, the newsletter provides a curated selection of the latest and most relevant job postings from Reddit.

Feedback
Hireddit v0 functional, but there's lot of room for improvement. That’s why I’ve introduced a Feedback page in Hireddit v0, a dedicated space where users can share feedback, report bugs, suggest new features, or recommend subreddits to include in our aggregation.
The feedback page isn’t just about problem-solving—it’s about creating a collaborative community of users who actively participate in Hireddit’s development. With each update, I’ll share highlights of how your feedback has shaped new features and improvements, ensuring users can see the impact of their contributions.

Here are some of the feedback I've received:
Future Development
With the successful launch of Hireddit v0, I'm excited to share our vision for the platform’s future. Based on user feedback and our long-term goals, I'm working on several key enhancements and features to make Hireddit an even more powerful tool for job seekers. Here’s what’s on the horizon:
+150 subreddits
To provide more comprehensive job listings, I plan to expand our reach to over 150 subreddits, covering a diverse array of industries and job types. This addition will ensure users have access to a broader selection of opportunities, from niche communities to more general job boards, enhancing Hireddit’s role as a central hub for Reddit job listings.
Subreddit Mapping
As I incorporate additional subreddits, Mapping will be essential in organizing and categorizing these new sources. This feature will help us categorize subreddits by location, job type, or relevance, making it easier for users to navigate and search through specific communities. Subreddit Mapping will also allow for better filtering, improving the precision of job searches across various fields.
Additional Filtering Options
Filtering is crucial for a tailored job search experience, and I'm working on expanding these options to provide users with greater flexibility. Future filtering options will include:
- Location-Based Filtering: Filter listings by location or remote availability, where applicable.
- Skills or Field: Focus on specific sectors like tech, marketing, design, or healthcare.
- Job Type: Narrow down to freelance, contract, internship, or full-time positions.
With these options, users will be able to refine searches based on their career goals and preferences, making the job search process more relevant and efficient.
Hireddit Report
Our weekly newsletter will now be called "Hireddit Reports".
I'll providing readers with insights and trends in Reddit’s job market. This report will offer:
- Weekly Trends: Information on popular job roles or industries based on recent listings.
- Job Market Insights: Data-driven analysis on hiring trends across Reddit communities.
- Popular Job Posts
- Skills in-demand
If you would like to subscribe to Hireddit Reports, kindly visit Hireddit Home Page and fill the subscription email box.
Enhanced UI/UX
Several users have suggested to improve the UI/UX of the website. Here’s what I'm planning for Hireddit’s next phase in design improvements:
- Simplified Layout and Improved Navigation
- Visual Hierarchy and Readability
- Better filtering and category
No duplicate posts
Some users on Reddit tend to post the same content across multiple subreddits. This causes our users to find repeated posts on Hireddit. I'll improve our data cleaning model and try to eliminate duplicate posts
These upcoming developments represent our commitment to making Hireddit a comprehensive and user-friendly job discovery tool. As we roll out these features, I’ll continue gathering feedback and refining the platform to meet the evolving needs of our users.
I'm excited to bring these improvements to life and look forward to sharing more updates as Hireddit grows.
